GSR and MR
The high performance sedan offers two trims, the five-speed manual GSR with Recaro seats, Enkei wheels, and optional Spoiler, HID headlights, and sound system. The MR offers the new Twin Clutch Sportronic Shift Transmission (TC-SST), Eibach springs, Bilstein shocks, Brembo brakes, BBS forged-alloy wheels, and more.
Power output for both derive from the turbocharged MIVEC4 engine, a 2.0L in-line four block producing 291hp and 300lb-ft of torque.
Japanese Market
Now seems like the appropriate time to let you know the new 2010 Evo X upgrade packages are for their homeland market, the Japanese spec X. That said, it could be an indication of what we can expect when it does hit U.S. shores.
Super All Wheel Control
The updated body kit changes the front fascia a little, and even with larger side skirts they were able to drop 3 lb off the weight. The drivetrain features the Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) system offering three driver settings: standard, ice, and gravel. The system utilizes info from a collection of sensors including, the Active Yaw Control, Active Center Differential, and the SportABS system – designed for aggressive driving, all to manipulate torque and braking for optimal performance.
