The Plum Crazy shade was all the rage back in the day, and can even warrant high dollar prices for today’s collectors. Dodge appear to be aiming for the future collectors with the resuscitation of this deep purple pearl tint that’s to cover the R/T and SRT8 models only. Both offering the double thick exterior stripes in black or white.
Interior Upgrade

WHEN I WAS A KID, MY DAD TOOK ME DOWN TO THE DODGE DEALERSHIP TO CHECK OUT THE LATEST CHRYSLER PRODUCTS, THIS WAS 1969 AND THEY WERE SHOWING 1970 MODELS. I WAS DROOLING ALL OVER THE DART, THE SUPER BEE,. THE ROAD RUNNER WAS TOO KOOL WITH THE “BEEP BEEP!” HORN, BUT THEN I SPOTTED THIS DROP DEAD GORGEOUS PURPLE CAR, IT WAS CALLED A CHALLENGER, PAINTED PLUM KRAZY., AND IT HAD THIS EMBLEM IN FLUORESCENT ORANGE, ” 440 MAGNUM !!” WOW! I IMMEDIATELY TOLD MYSELF , ONE OF THESE DAYS I HAVE GOT TO GET ME ONE OF THESE! I WOULD BET THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF OTHER BOYS WHO COULD TELL A SIMILAR STORY. TO SEE THIS HERE STORY ANNOUNCING A RETURN OF THE PLUM KRAZY COLOR ON THE NEW CHALLENGER IS TO ME ONE OF THEE BEST THINGS TO HAPPEN TO HIGH PERFORFMANCE CARS ,PERIOD!
