Aston Martin DBS Partner with Jaeger

Time to be Cool

Yes, you too can be as cool as James Bond with a little thanks to Swiss-based Jaeger, the worlds leading watch manufacturer, who have partnered with Aston Martin and designed a watch that will remotely open your DBS.

If you don’t have a DBS

Although the lock/unlock function is cool, if like me you don’t have a $332,000 Aston Martin, the watch is still pretty remarkable – at least that’s what I think this quote says!

“The movement is a Calibre 751 mechanical movement assembled from 272 individual parts with vertical coupling, a 72-hour power reserve, 28,800 v.p.h (vibrations per hour) and has undergone 1,000 hours of testing plus 400 hours of tests on the chronograph,” Jérôme Lambert concluded.

Ok, I totally have no idea what all that means, perhaps it’s the equivalent of saying the DBS is powered by an enhanced version of the DBR9 6.0L V12, race tuned to power out 600hp, totally kicks butt, and it should’ve been driven by Pierce Brosnan not that other loser.

But who am I kidding; I can’t afford the watch either!
