GM Just Can’t Get It Right

So Chevrolet meets America’s Best Dance Crew and So You Think You Can Sing for this weird display aimed at encouraging viewers to buy the new battery powered car with an outstanding 40-mile range that coincidently utilizes a gas-powered generator to recharge the batteries while in motion, as opposed to a more logical engine set-up.
Judging by this straight up freaky song (maybe this isn’t the best use of the word ‘straight’) and dance routine though it doesn’t appear common sense or logic is something high on the GM’s priority list. They should buy the rights for that song Hyundai were using for a while – Just Can’t Seem To Get It Right Today.

L.A. Auto Show

The first day of the auto show kicked off with Bob Lutz reading off from his pre-scripted notes awesome the Chevy Volt is, and that was followed by the media event at their booth, where it was kind of strange to see a fake demo of the concept on display rather than the real deal, especially after Lutz had just told us the first units would be delivered by the year’s end.
Hardly seemed worth our while snapping pictures of but we did anyway.

You can so tell this guy did not want to be caught looking at the Volt. But he was!
