This guy in England blew nearly $880,000 for a license plate with just 1 letter and 1 number on it, F1, that’s it! I don’t care how big a fan you are of a sport, paying that much for a license plate is just plain nuts!
“I am privileged to have acquired such a prestigious plate. It’s every man’s dream to have his perfect car with a number plate like this.”
No! It’s not every man’s dream! I would expect to be right royally slapped up the side of the head if I even contemplated spending that much on a license plate. What a doofus!

I know this guy! He is a well known figure in the UK.
Mind you, it really is a lot of money.
However, for someone who has a few million pounds (almost double that for USD) burning a hole in his pocket, the price might not be an issue.
Yes, it is an issue for me and you, but not for some fortunate few.
Yeah, I guess you gotta have it before you can say how you’d spend it!! Must be nice!
