This apparently is what 256mph looks like! We have seen the guys from Top Gear hit 253mph in the Bugatti Veyron but the fastest car in the world has been beat. The SSC Ultimate Aero produces an amazing 1183hp, going from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and now officially holds the record for fastest production car with a speed of 256.18mph.
The guy driving is 71 years old! Seriously. No joke!
