FT-86 Track Car From Toyota

May Feature Subaru Motor

Even though speculation is that Subaru will supply the 2.0L horizontally opposed flat-four there’s no word as to whether or not they will improve on the 150hp naturally aspirated stock version.
We suspect they will have to add some sort of forced induction option if they truly plan to compete against the Genesis Coupe R Spec, and with reports coming in of a bigger brake set-up with stiffer suspension you might suspect these upgrades are in response to the anticipated addition of horsepower and torque, but with the expected price of $22,000 for the stripped down track version of the sports compact – $5,000 below the fully equipped FT-86, we don’t see any form of power-adder included in that price tag.
