I came across a great looking VW Beetle today over at UberReview. An aircraft engineer has been working on this little project to transform it in to a monster beetle. The VW is a 1968 model and the engineer planned it out seriously in depth by using CAD to check for structural integrity. As you can see from the picture above and other pictures over at Loqu, the structure is far more substantial then what it actually needs. The whole project is put together amazingly well. I’d love to take this thing out for a spin!
