1200 miles to go
Frank Oresnik is just 1200 miles from having a million miles on his 91 Chevy Silverado.
He says an oil change and tune up every 3000 miles is all it took to keep this truck running, the 17 year old Chevy does 85,000 miles per year delivering seafood in Wisconsin, Illinois, and Michigan.
Engine NEVER Overhauled
It has gone through a number of parts but never had work on the 350 engine, still has original gaskets, seals, valve covers, and timing chain!
The truck has had four radiators, three gas tanks, five transmissions and six water pumps, but the engine has never been overhauled, Oresnik said.
Both GM and Shell have expressed interest in tearing down the engine when he retires the truck at the million mile mark.
I wonder if GM will offer him a free truck or something for it?!
