It’s All Fun Until The Ozone Gets Hurt
Here is a cool fact you can take to all the tree huggin hippies who want to control every freakin aspect of our daily lives. A recent study carried out in the UK showed that those stupid and annoying speed bumps they put everywhere are bad for the environment!
Due to the fact that you have to slow down at every bump your vehicle becomes less fuel efficient, they drove their car that averaged 58mpg around the Millbrook Proving Grounds at 30mph slowing as you normally would to tackle the bump and found that the car averaged 31mpg, with a rise in carbon dioxides, carbon monoxides went up by 82%, and nitrous oxides increase by 37% when compared to driving on roads with out speed bumps.
