Different kind of Hybrid

Here’s what I’ve found so far on the new Toyota and Subaru collaboration, a couple of images and an idea of what might be under the hood.

Possibilities

Toyota plan to go rear wheel drive with this new GT, powered by the 200hp 2.0L in the Impreza released in Europe.
The GT4 – a 4 wheel drive will be beefier with the 300hp Japanese spec WRX/STI block and will be set back a little further on the chassis to help with handling.

Will Toyota plan to take over WRC with the new GT? We’ll have to wait and see.
