Fuel Economy from Bully Dog

The guys at Bully Dog have sent us one of their WatchDog Economy Monitors to evaluate over the next few months. Bully Dog claim this device can help any driver achieve an increase in fuel economy, by as much as 37% per gallon.
The WatchDog processes real time information from the vehicles monitoring systems, while the unit software monitors your driving habits continually calculating the data to offer advice on how to best improve your fuel economy. Essentially becoming your own personal Driving Coach.

OBDII Plug and Play

The system is a simple plug and play set up, connecting directly into the OBDII port of any 1996 or newer vehicle. Looking over the instructions briefly it appears to be simple enough to set up. The system requires an internet update prior to install which we’ve just completed, nothing to complicated there as the monitor hooks via USB connection and the downloadable Bully Dog Update Agent program pretty much takes care of the rest.
The Bully Dog Update Agent will look for updates every time you plug the device in, and you can even be kept up-to-date when they offer product updates for any of their devices via Twitter, or a text message to your cell phone, and their updates are always free through their website.
